József Álmos Katona

József Álmos Katona is a Hungarian PhD student of Comparative Literature at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. He is qualified as a Teacher of English and Teacher of Hungarian. Currently he is working in the fields of specilaized translation (EU legislation) and of editing. His previous and current research areas: The Sources and Development of the 19th century Irish Poetry (BA thesis), The Role of Translation and Understanding in Foreign Language Teaching (MA thesis), The cognitive processes of literary (metaphor) translation (PhD thesis).
