Charles I. Armstrong

Charles I. Armstrong is a professor British literature at the University of Agder (in Norway), Visiting Fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge, and has been a Visiting Scholar at NUI-Galway. He has frequently been an invited speaker at the W. B. Yeats International Summer School, is former president of the Nordic Irish Studies Network and is on the editorial Board of both Nordic Irish Studies and the new journal of the International Yeats Society. His research focuses on art and trauma, Yeats and contemporary Irish poetry, Romanticism, Victorian poetry, Modernist poetry and fiction, literary theory, contemporary film and Norwegian poetry. He has published with Bloomsbury Academic and Palgrave.
